The bidder is required to have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The specific requirements include prior work experience in civil engineering construction work, with details of each project, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder should have completed a total value of civil engineering construction work in the last five years. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of an amount indicated in the Appendix (usually not less than one and a half times the estimated cost of the project) in any one year. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than the amount indicated in the Appendix (usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract) in the last five years, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have completed a project of at least 50 percent of the contract value within the last five years. The bidder should provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 10% of estimated cost) certified by the bankers, and an undertaking that the bidder would be able to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the contract. The bidder's prior work experience is also evaluated based on their technical qualification, which includes the submission of affidavits, auditor reports, and information on the availability of key plants and equipment. The bidder's performance in previous works is also considered, and any record of poor performance may lead to disqualification. Specific values and percentages mentioned include: - 50% of the estimated quantity of earthwork, brick work, GSB work, steel reinforcement, cement concrete, and paver block. - 90% completion rate of the contract value. - 10% of the estimated cost for credit facilities. - 25% of the contract value for investment during implementation. - 20% of the value of the work not completed, representing the Employer's additional cost for completing the Works. - 2% of the contract price as the minimum amount for Performance Security. - Rs 5.00 Lakhs as the amount to be withheld for failing to supply "as-built" drawings by the date required.
