The required prior work experience for the bidder includes quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or work performed as a nominated sub-contractor in the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years should be provided. The bidder should also provide details of works underway or contractually committed, and clients who may be contacted for further information on these contracts. For certain types of work, the contractor or their identified sub-contractor should have executed similar works for a minimum amount as indicated in the Appendix in any one work. Specifically, for building electrification works, water supply/sanitary engineering works, and specialized nature of work or new type of engineering methodology, the contractor or sub-contractor should have executed similar works for a minimum amount as indicated in the Appendix. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 50% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, proposals for sub-contracting components of the works amounting to more than 10 percent of the Bid Price are required. The bidder should also undertake that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the work and have access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 20% of Estimated Cost) certified by the bankers. The bidder should demonstrate availability of key and critical equipment, personnel with adequate experience, and liquid assets or credit facilities of no less than the amount indicated in the Appendix. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years.
