The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in executing civil engineering works, with specific requirements such as: - Completion of at least one similar work of value not less than the amount indicated, with options including: - One similar work of value not less than Rs 18083355.00 (90% of 50% estimated value of contract) - Two similar works each of value not less than Rs 12055570.00 (60% of 50% estimated value of contract) - Three similar works each of value not less than Rs 10046309.00 (50% of 50% estimated value of contract) - Quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or work performed as a nominated sub-contractor in the last five years, including: - E/W in cutting / Filling: 6883.00 M3 - Boulder Pitching / Rip-rap: 1138.05 M3 - PCC/RCC: 143 M3 - Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years - Value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 1.5 years - Liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the contract value - Personnel with adequate experience, including: - Civil + 15 years of experience (5 years as Manager) - Site Engineer: B.E. Civil + 10 years of experience (5 years in road construction) - Plant Engineer: B.E. Mech. + 10 years of experience or Dip. Mech. + 15 years of experience - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil + 7 years of experience or Dip. Civil + 10 years of experience - Soil and Material Engineer: B.E. Civil + 10 years of experience - Survey Engineer: B.E. Civil + 5 years of experience or Diploma in Civil + 8 years of experience - The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least one and a half times the estimated cost of the project in any one year during the last five years. - The bidder should have access to or availability of credit facilities certified by the bankers, with a minimum of 10% of the contract value, and should undertake to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the contract.
