The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - For Schedule A: 18731228.75 (Basic Value), 5.35 (Escl.(%)), 19733349.49 (Amount) - For Schedule B: 140991.62 (Basic Value), 5.35 (Escl.(%)), 148534.67 (Amount) - For Schedule C: 7412899.83 (Basic Value), 5.35 (Escl.(%)), 7809489.97 (Amount) A substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
