South Eastern Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The definition of similar work is any Civil Engineering Work. In case a work is substantially completed, it means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The value of the final bill, including the Price Variation (PVC) amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of the work. If a work is physically completed but the final bill is pending, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of the work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the cost of the substantially completed work. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover.
