The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed civil engineering construction works in the last five years, with the total annual volume of work executed and payments received provided. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one work of a similar nature, with a value of not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value of the work tendered, in the last five years. - The completion of the work should be at least 90% as a prime contractor or duly authorized sub-contractor by the Employer. - The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the estimated value of the work tendered. Additionally, the bidder's available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total estimated value of the works for which they have offered this bid, calculated as (AxNx2.5-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in anyone year, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing work to be completed during the next two years.
