The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a minimum annual financial turnover and completion of similar civil engineering works of a certain value and percentage. The bidder should have prior work experience in civil engineering works of similar nature and size, including achieving a minimum annual financial turnover of 731.32 Lac, which is usually not less than one and a half times the estimated cost of the project. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last five years. The total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years should be provided in an experience certificate. Specific values and percentages of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - A minimum total value of work of Rs. 438.79 Lac, which is 90% of the estimated cost. - A minimum value of single work of similar nature of Rs. 243.77 Lac, which is 50% of the estimated cost. - For electric work, a minimum cost of Rs. 12.68 Lac, which is 50% of the estimated electric cost. - For water supply/sanitary work, a minimum cost of Rs. 5.00 Lac, which is 50% of the estimated water supply/sanitary cost. Additionally, the bidder should have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of Rs. 48.76 Lac, which is 10% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash amount up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
