The required prior work experience for the bidder includes executing at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 734.98 Lac in any one year, which is usually not less than one and a half times the estimated cost of the project. They should have also satisfactorily completed Civil Construction work (not less than 90% of contract value) as a prime contractor. For specific types of work, the bidder or their sub-contractor should have executed similar electrical works for a minimum amount (specified in Appendix) and possess a required valid electrical license, and executed similar water supply/sanitary engineering works for a minimum amount (specified in Appendix) and possess a required valid license. The bidder is also required to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract, and have a bid capacity and undertaking to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 10% as defined in the ITB. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide details of similar nature of works executed, and submit scanned copies of certificates showing details of similar nature of works, work in hand, and machineries owned or possessed on hire. The tenderer should also mention their previous experience of contract work carried out with value thereof, and provide a testimonial form of the Engineer-in-charge under whom he had worked regarding the manner of his performance.
