Bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be calculated using the following formulas and values: 1. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited (period up to 6 months to be taken as half-year and more than 6 months as one year). B = Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. 2. Bid Capacity = 10% of Contract Amount Alternatively, the bidder should have a minimum of Rs. 20.605 Lac as liquid assets and/or credit facilities. Therefore, the bid capacity required is Rs. 2.0625 Lac or a minimum of Rs. 20.605 Lac. 3. Bid Capacity = 1.5 * Estimated Cost of the Project The estimated cost of the project is given as Rs. 206.01861 Lac. Therefore, the bid capacity required can be calculated as: Bid Capacity = 1.5 * 206.01861 = Rs. 309.027915 Lac. 4. Minimum financial turnover = 1.5 * Estimated Cost of the project The bidder must have a minimum financial turnover of at least Rs. 309.03 Lac (One and a half times the estimated cost of the project) in any one year in the last five years. 5. Minimum value of single Work = 0.6 * Estimated Cost Minimum value of single Work in Civil work is (60% of estimated cost) Rs. 123.615 Lacs 6. Minimum value of similar nature Work = 0.5 * Estimated Cost Minimum value of similar nature Work is (50% of Estimated Cost) Rs. 103.01 Lacs for the last five years. 7. Liquid Assets/Credit Facilities = 0.1 * Contract Amount Minimum Cash Investment = 0.1 * Contract Amount Note: Contract Amount can be estimated as Rs. 20.625 Lac using the given EMD value of Rs. 4.125 Lac.
