The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed similar water supply/sanitary engineering works for a minimum amount. The bidder should have completed similar works with specific requirements based on the contract value. For contract value up to 50 crores, the bidder should have completed: - Three similar works each of value not less than Rs. 72,12,848.00 (50% of 50% of estimated value of contract), - Two similar works each of value not less than Rs. 86,55,417.00 (60% of 50% of estimated value of contract), - One similar work of value not less than Rs. 1,29,83,125.00 (90% of 50% of estimated value of contract) in the last five years. For contract value more than 50 crores, the bidder should have completed two similar works of value not less than the amount indicated in the appendix (usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract) in the last five years. The bidder should have also executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the following items of work: - Cement concrete (including RCC and PCC): 238.38 cum (usually 50% of the estimated quantity) - Earthwork in excavation: 260 cum - Brick Work: 449.54 cum Additionally, the bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation of the contract, and should have access to lines of credit and other financial resources facilities of at least 10% of the contract value. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum of cost up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the contract, and should have access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 20% of Estimated Cost) certified by the bankers.
