Supply installation testing and commissioning of Retrofit control device for Emmission control for DG Set of 40 KVA capacity any make/vintage complete all as specified and directed. RECD to be installed in place of existing silencer. No soot is to be collected in the retrofit device. The device including enclosure should include an oxidation chamber and passive regeneration trap.
TEST REPORTS
Certificates:-
Device should be 'Type Approved' as per the system and procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of RECD for DG setengines dated 01/02/22 vide pollution control series PCLS/12/2021-22. Adhering to this, RECD to be 'Type Testing' for an equivalent KVA family as per the system and procedure from any one of the four CPCB, Govt of India, recognized/approved test agencies/labortories as given below:-
(a) Automotive Research Associatiion of India (ARAI, Pune)
(b) International Centre for Automotive Testing (ICAT, manesar)
(c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP, Dehradun)
(d) Vehicle Research Developement establsihment (VRDE, Ahmednagar)
Back pressure due to emission control retrofit device:- Maximum back pressure exerted by the RECD at max prescribed load by DG OEM (as per the capacity of the DG Set) should be under limit and display panel to be provided for back pressure and exhaust temperature limit.
General Techmical Requirements (GTR)/commisioning:-
(a) RECD shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operation under any circumstances. RECD should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhuast passes through the RECD.
(b) Anti-vibration mountings shall be provided for complete RECD in case of flexible coupling with DG exhaust.
(c) RECD should have protection against under voltage, over volatage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc.
(d) RECD shall be with corrosion resistive and HR paint.
(e) Contractor shalll provide the TRIAL RUN of recd with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for two hours. The elctrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG Set.
(f) Exhaust piping, extra civil work, distribution board shalll be provided by the Contractor.
Scope of Installation:-
(a) Installation of RECD when offered is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by contractors own arrangements.
(b) Construction of suitable earthing station (if applicable) and necessary connections shall be done by the Contracor.

Supply and fix powder coated CRCA steel for thickness of 2/3 15 mm of minimum weight 75 kg for 3.15 mm thickness & 55 kg for 2 mm thickness to be made into desired shape and size by cutting slots for provision of cable entry/exit and fixing of MCCBs/MCBs etc complete with nuts, hinges and door handles for repair/maintenance of LT outdoor as well as indoor panel depending upon the site requirement complete all as specified and directed.
