East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. A work is considered substantially completed if payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. In case of non-lead members of JVs, each member must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of the work or the cost of any component of the work. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender - 35% value of the work to be subletted - 90% of the present contract value - 10% of the cost of the work or the cost of any component of the work - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work.
