Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work during the last 7 years. These categories are:
- Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender,
- Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender,
- One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender.
For composite works, the requirements are similar but applied to each component of the tender.
Additionally, for subletting work, a subcontractor must have completed at least one similar work costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted in the last 5 years, unless the work is valued up to Rs 50 lakh. The similar nature of work includes supply and installation of solar plants or rooftop solar plants.
