The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last seven years. The experience criteria can be met in one of the following ways: - Three similar completed or substantially completed works, each of value not less than 40% of the advertised cost of the work. - Two similar completed or substantially completed works, each of value not less than 50% of the average of the limit of the group. - One similar completed or substantially completed work of value not less than 80% of the advertised cost of the work. Substantial completion means that works resulting from the contract performance can be or have been put to use for the purpose for which they were intended, with 80% (value-wise) or more works completed under the contract. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as 40%, 50%, and 80% of the advertised cost of the work. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value that can be used to calculate the available bid capacity. The bidder should possess prior work experience with a maximum value of engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years.
