The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last 07 years. The experience can be demonstrated in one of the following ways: - Three similar completed works, with each work having a value of not less than 40% of the estimated cost - Two similar completed works, with each work having a value of not less than 50% of the estimated cost - One similar completed work, with a value of not less than 80% of the estimated cost Substantial completion is based on 80% or more works completed under the contract. The value of work executed is brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. Similar work means works involving execution of water supply projects, including Civil & mechanical components, such as construction of one No. RCC OHT with a minimum capacity of 20000 Glns or RSFP with a minimum capacity of 5000 GPH, and installation of pumping machinery for the water supply schemes.
