The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works of a certain value. The bidder must have completed: - Three similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 40% of the advertised cost, - Or two similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 50% of the advertised cost, - Or one similar completed or substantially completed work of value not less than 80% of the advertised cost. The substantial completion is based on 80% (value-wise) or more works completed under the contract. For contracts under which the applicant participated as a joint venture member, only the applicant's share by value shall be considered to meet the experience criteria. The value of work executed shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 07% per annum. The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover during any three financial years out of the last 05 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, which should be minimum 30% of the advertised cost. The experience criteria can be met in the following ways: - Three similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 40% of the advertised cost. - Two similar completed or substantially completed works each of value not less than 50% of the advertised cost. - One similar completed or substantially completed work of value not less than 80% of the advertised cost. The lead partner in a joint venture should have at least 51% of the prescribed limits, while the second partner should have at least 26% of the prescribed limits, with the overall sum aggregating to 100% of the prescribed experience/turnover clause. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 40% of the advertised cost - 50% of the advertised cost - 80% of the advertised cost - 80% (value-wise) for substantial completion - 07% per annum for enhancing actual value of work - 30% of the advertised cost for average annual financial turnover - 51% of the prescribed limits for the lead partner - 26% of the prescribed limits for the second partner - 100% of the prescribed experience/turnover clause for the joint venture partners.
