Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of civil works of similar nature in the last five financial years, with at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work of any Government /Semi Government Department (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this evaluation. The bidder should have experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. The lead partner in a Joint Venture shall meet not less than 50% of qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners shall meet not less than 25% of all the criteria. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The assessed available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. Proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price, are allowed. The bidder shall furnish details of other civil works of similar nature executed and completed in any Govt. or Semi Govt. Department during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders, mentioning allotted cost and work done cost, with a certificate from the concerned officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 120% for road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana - 50% of qualification criteria for the lead partner in a Joint Venture - 25% of all the criteria for each of the remaining partners in a Joint Venture - 25 percent of the Contract Price for subcontracting - 8 percent per year update to the price level of the last year - one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work.
