The required prior work experience for the bidder is defined as follows: - Three similar electric completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar electric completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar electric completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid for other partners in a joint venture. - 40% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid for the lead partner in a joint venture. - At least 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid for each of the other partners. For example, experience in erecting, testing, and commissioning 200 Kms of 132 KV lines and 50 MVA capacity EHT substation makes a bidder eligible for 33/11 KV or 66/11 KV substation part of up to 100 MVA capacity and lines up to 400 kms length. The bidder should submit work completion/satisfactory performance certificates of similar/electrical works, indicating the amount and percentage of similar works completed.
