The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar electric completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar electric completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar electric completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. For joint venture firms, the lead partner should have successfully erected, tested, and commissioned electrical works of 33 KV/11 KV substation with at least 40% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. Each of the other partners should have successfully erected, tested, and commissioned electrical works of 33 KV/11 KV with at least 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. Additionally, experience in higher voltage capacity substation or line will also be considered, with examples including 200 Kms 132 KV lines and 50 MVA capacity EHT substation making the bidder eligible for 33/11 KV or 66/11 KV substation part of up-to 100 MVA capacity and lines up-to 400 kms length. The bidder should also submit work completion/satisfactory performance certificates of similar/electrical works issued by an officer-in-charge not below the rank of Executive Engineer. The bidder is requested to submit a statement of facts in detail as to their previous experience in performing a similar or comparable work, including information on their standing as designer and manufacturer of equipment, particulars of equipment/materials produced, list of important works where such materials have been supplied and/or erected, and bankers report.
