The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing at least two similar works costing not less than 25% each of the estimated cost, or one similar completed work costing not less than 35% of the estimated cost for normal highway projects. For stand-alone specialized projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover having a length equal to or greater than a specified length, depending on the longest span of the bridge/ROB/flyover. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - Two similar completed works with a cost not less than or equal to 25% each of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work with a cost not less than or equal to 35% of the estimated cost. Specific values and percentages mentioned include: - 25% and 35% of the estimated cost for similar works completed. - 90% of the value of work completed for a project to be considered completed. - Rs. 2.46 crore, which should not be less than 5% of the Estimated Project Cost for projects up to 100 Cr, and 10% for projects more than 100 Cr. - 5% of the Estimated Cost of the Project for projects up to Rs. 100 Cr. - 10% of the Estimated Cost of the Project for projects more than Rs. 100 Cr. - 20% of the Estimated Project Cost of the project. For Major Bridges/ROB/Flyovers projects, the bidder shall have completed at least one similar Bridge/ROB/Flyover project in the last 7 financial years, having a span equal to or greater than 80% of the longest span or 100m, whichever is less, of the structure proposed in this project, and 40% of the length of the Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover or 2 Km, whichever is less. For Tunnel projects, the bidder shall have completed at least one tunnel project in the last 7 financial years, consisting of single or twin tubes, having at least 80% of the cross-sectional area of the tunnel to be constructed or cross-sectional area of 2 lane highway tunnel, whichever is less, and 40% length of the tunnel to be constructed in this project or 2 km, whichever is less.
