S&F in repairs punched tape concertina coil (including spike and handle) with 56 loops and 600mm dia, Max covered length 8 RM, having a core wire of high carbon spring steel of high tensile strength. The punched tape and cover wire (2.5 +- 0.35mm dia) shall be heavy galvanized (IS-1730) (Wire-275GSM & strip-200 GSM) to provided protection against outdoor exposure. The punched tape shall be mechanically crimped over the core wire and then formed into a coil at various parts of the periphery of the coil. The width of strip as 19mm and spacing of blades 24.00 +- 0.5mm C/C. The weight of each coil shall be 8 +- 0.5% Kgs without packing material and coil length 8 Mtr (maximum) when opened up each coil would with bituminized hessian cloth for providing protective packing.
Note: The weight of concertina coil shall be ascertained by BOO convened by GE 861 EWS and the payment shall be made accordingly.
