Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel Engine driven Generating Set of 25 KVA with alternator output Voltage 415 Volts +/- 1% at set value of 415V at a frequency 50HZ +/- 0.5% with suitable standard control panel, all mounted acoustic enclosure with standard panel as per manufacturers design and specification as per latest approved CPB-04 + norms confirming to the detailed specification as appended below: -
(A) ENGINE: -
Vertical in line, three-cylinder diesel engine of 25 KVA rated at 1500 RPM as per latest IS direct injection type with turbo charger and air cooled engine electric starting system, arrangement of starting and the engine shall be capable of running 12 Hrs continuously and with 10% of over loading for 01 Hrs in each 12 Hrs running. The engine shall be equipped with all standard fittings all as per manufacturer recommendation. Engine shall be directly coupled with alternator mounted on common base plate with the following: -
(a) Battery 12V, 100 AH with set of 01 No with battery charger extra and battery charger having electronic control consist of diodes, rectifiers contacts, resistance etc. The battery charger shall be able to charge the battery at all-time whenever electric supply is given to the battery charger flow control panel.
(b) Heavy duty industrial silencer fitted with expansion joint and silencer pipe duly lagging with asbestos rope from engine to outside power house building upto 0.50 Mrs and independently supported with and including frame fixed to wall/floor.
(c) Fly wheel with coupling bolt.
(d) Lub oil filter.
(e) Instrument panel comprising of microprocessor based controller for measuring parameters like coolant temperature, running hrs, lubricating oil pressure etc.
(f) Engine speed governor (electro mechanical Class A-1, governing as per BS 5514.
(g) Air filters (Dry type).
(h) Turbo charger of suitable capacity.
(j) Oil pump for forced feed lubrication.
(k) Fuel injection pump.

(B) Alternator:-
Alternator of rating capacity 30 KW (25 KVA) & capable to take 10% extra load at every 12 hours interval for one hours, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 415 volts, 0.8 power factors, 1500 RPM self-excited self-regulated required to be coupled with above engine. The alternators shall be conforming to suitable IS as per following specifications: -
(a) Type: - Silent poles, single bearing brushless type suitable for direct coupling engine.
(b) Rating: - Guaranteed to deliver required output at the ambient temp conditions Suitable for an over load of 10% for 1 hour every 12 hours operation.
(c) Self excited 0 self-regulated.
(d) Voltage Regulations: - Suitable for taking rated load immediately after machines reach rated voltage and speed.
(e) Vibration: - Suitable for direct coupling with engine and mounted on common MS Channel base frame.
(f) Enclosures: - Screen protected drip proof enclosure with IP 23 degree of protection.
(g) Cooling: Air cooled type with radial fan mounted on rotor.
(h) Winding and Insulation, insulation class H as defined in suitable IS. (j) Control panel shall be provided with PC 1:1 controller and digital display for measuring of line/ phase voltages/ current, frequency etc and having MCCB of 63 Amp with over loaded and short circuit protection.

(C) PANEL: -
(i) Standard control panel for DG Set shall be made of fabricated sheet cubicle type with front hinged cover with internal copper wiring and or suitable size complete with microprocessor based controller as per manufacturer recommendation: -
(a) Integration of all engine and alternator parameters.
(b) For ease of viewing high performance graphical LCD and prominent display
(c) LED Indication for gen set status and alarms.
(d) Two Nos MCCB 63 Amp, 25 KA breaking capacity, one for main supply and other for DG Supply.
(e) Two Nos conductors of 63 Amp capacity for main & DG
(f) Aluminium bus bars of 100 Amp capacity provided with termination.
(ii) Display Parameters/ LED Indication
(a) Electrical parameters: Phase voltage, line current, frequency, and average voltage, average current, KW, KWH, KVA, KVAR, PF, Earth fault current.
(b) Mechanical parameters: Lub oil pressure coolant, temp, engine speed, fuel status, engine run hrs, battery voltage.
(iii) Protection
(a) Electrical Protection: Under/ Over voltage, Under/ Over Frequency, Phase Failure. Phase sequencer reverse, over current, over KW.
(b) Mechanical Protection: Under/ Over speed, Low lub oil pressure, high engine coolant temp, low fuel level alarm, start/ stop fail, charging alternator (iv) Cable entry gland plate with cable glands.
Note: The cost of control cables from engine control panel shall be deemed to be included.
(D) Foundation: -
DG set shall be installed on new foundation block as per manufacture recommendation including excavation works for foundation, provision of cable ducts, making good any damages to existing structure, fuel piping from fuel tank to gen set with medium grade GI tubing and cold water piping system (Medium grade GI tubing from nearest water point to radiator of engine with brass tap and stop cock and fittings complete connecting the existing earthing strip to control panel, DG set and Generator.

(E) ACCESSORIES:-
(i) 01 No standard mechanical and electric tool box.
(F) Acoustic Enclosure: -
Specially designed to meet CPCB norms 75dBA @ 1 mtr at 65% load under free field conditions. The Acoustic enclosure is made of CRCA sheets and a structural/sheet metal base with high quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material (P.U. Foam) complying to suitable is with two point lifting handles.
(ii) Internal covered tube lights.
(G) Internal lighting: - Tube lights with protective mesh around it to be fitted inside the container for proper illumination.
(H) Doors: - The enclosure will be provided with suitable doors on the side and rear to enter the enclosure during operation and maintenance. All doors will be provided with lock and handles for opening/closing the doors, retainers for holding the panel box.
(J) Painting Scheme: - Superlative fade resistant paint can last longer in through whether condition.
(K) Lifting/Transportation arrangement: - Container with suitable corners will be provided to lift the DG set alongwith container. This is suitable for road/rail/sea transportation.
(L) Trials: - Trials on site should be given as per load tests prescribed and all functional trials should be shown.
(M) Material and Labour for making PCC foundation of DG set of size as per manufacturer recommendation.

Supply and fixING Servo Controlled Voltage stabilizer for automatic operation, three phase, naturally oil cooled, indoor type & designed for input variation between 170 V to 480 V and of capacity 25 KVA, conforming to IS. 9815 (Part-Il) and suitable for 3 phase AC system to give a guaranteed out put voltage of 415 V +- 1% without spikes at 50HZ.
Speed of correction of voltage shall be high enough to give jerkless out put voltage and in any case it shall not be less than 50 volts per second per phase without under/overshooting. Voltage stabilizer shall be with solid state sensor unit (IC Based) Relay free smooth and silent operation with servomotor and copper wound transformers in CRGO laminations. Voltage stabilizer shall be suitable for unbalance type load with provision of switch to select any or all three phases for monitoring. It shall have efficiency not less than 98% and shall be fee from distortion in wave forms. Response time of voltage stabilizer shall not exceed 10milli seconds and Power Factor at full load shall not exceed 0.95. Voltage stabilizer shall have protection against loss of any of the phases, phase reversal and overload with indicating and alarm system. It shall also have high and low voltage cut off facilities besides by pass facility in case of emergency. The specification of its main components shall conform to the following standards: -
1 Step-syn Motor : shall be of low speed ( 60 RPM, 50 Hz), high torque 240 volts AC single phase and shall have instant start-stop reverse characteristics and shall take very low current. It shall not have communtator or brushes on the rotor and shall be noiseless in operation with suitable ball bearings.
2 Dimmerstat: It shall be continuously variable voltage auto-transformer type, wound on high grade CRGO, toroidal core.
3 Transformer: The secondary winding shall be in series with the line voltage. The primary winding shall be fed by the output of Dimmerstat.
4 Control & Monitor System: All necessary monitors and user controls shall be provided on the front panel.
5 Testing: (i):- On full and final installation of the voltage stabilizer, it shall be put on water load testing or testing with strip heaters. Testing shall be carried out by the Garrison Engineer/ Engineer-in-Charge for continuous running of 24 hours on full load including testing with 10% over load for one hour in between. The contractor shall make all necessary arrangement for testing including water/strip heaters load.
(ii):- During the testing of 24 hours on load, following aspects shall also be considered to ascertain the satisfactory performance of the voltage stabilizer: -
(a) Noise level and temperature rise of oil.
(b) Rate of voltage correction, sensitivity and response time.
(c) Functioning of metering monitoring controls alarm and indicating.

Supply and fixing earthing complete with galvanised cost iron earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground less than3.0 metres deep below normal ground level as earth erctrode with top edge of plate not less than 2.25 meters below normal ground level using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth continuity conductor connected to earth plate by means of welding. Gl thimbles, nuts, bolts & washers all as directed including providing earth wire protection pipe light grade 15 mm dia from earth plate to main switch board/panel, watering pipe 20 mm dia with wire mesh and funnel at top, earth pit and RCC pit cover with handle of angle iron frame of 40 x 40 x 6 mm in PCC
1:3:6 adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt and kalmi shore all around the earth plate, earth work in any type of soil remaining surplus excavated material all as requiredat site and specified in EP NO 3 Of SSR Part-l 2009 or directed by Engineer-in-Charge and incl testing on completion.
NOTE:- i) Item of earthing includes cost of 7.5 m long GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm with protection pipe of 40mm dia Gl medium grade, any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order based on SSR rates redused by (-15%).
ii) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost.

(ii) Shed shall be covered from three sides with 0.63mm thick CGI steel sheeting and fourth side of shed shall be left open for entrance.
iii) Steel frame work using steel structure member like angles of size 75 x 75 x 6mm, flates 50 x 50 x 6mm, nut, bolts washers of required sizes etc or as directed.
(iv) Two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on steel surfaces
(v) Necessary earth work in any type of soil
(vi) Provn of 100mm thik hard core with gauge n. exc. 63mm of broken stone boulders. (vii) PCC work in type D-2 (1:4:8) using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in base layer in floor as directed.
(viii) PCC 75mm thick in type b-2 (1:2:4) using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in top/crest layer in floor as directed.
Note:- 1. Cost of material, labour and T&P to be used against above specifications shall also be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
2. The work shall be executed as per drawing/sketch available with AGE E/M Sub Div. Bidders may refer the same from Sub Div before quting the bid otherwise no claim shall be admissible on this account.
