Note:-The unit rates quoted for items covered under phase-I shall include the following:
(i) 02 Nos Mali/ gardener (01 Mali/ Gardener for each location) for the period of defect liability period (ie. 12 calendar months) shall be provided by the Contractor.
(ii) All activities as described under BOQ item No 46.00 shall be comply by the Mali/ gardeners during defect liability period.
(iii) A sum of Rs 3.0 lakh (Rupees three lakhs) shall be kept reserve gradually from the payment due against work done of phase-I. The contractor may give FDR in favour of Accepting officer (GE 864 EWS) valid for one year for the sum mentioned above. It shall be refunded to the contractor after the expiration of defect liability period, provided always that the Contractor shall first have rendered a No-Demand Certificate (IAFA-451).
(iv) Penalty shall be recovered from the Contractor‘s dues @ Rs 500.00 per day per Mali/ gardener on account of absent from duty as verified by Engr-in-Charge. A certificate of this aspect will be given by the Engr-in-Charge.
