Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11KV 400A switch disconnector outdoor panel for protection of 63 KVA Transformer The Load break switch shall use low pressure SF6 gas for current interruption and shall require no maintenance. Leakage rate shall not be over 0.1% per year, for life span of at least 30 years.It shall have three positions (closed, open and earthed). The switching device shall be suitable for three-phase systems operating at 12 kV and 50/60 Hz. The rated voltage shall be at least 12 kV. The short-time withstand current shall be 25 kA - 1 s / 12 kV. LBS panel should be provided with fuse trip assembly and HRC fuses of appropriate rating for protection of 63 KVA transformer.The operating mechanism should have following functions. (a).Switch function: independent-operation closing by lever. Operating energy is provided by a compressed spring which, when released, causes the contacts to close. independent-operation opening by push-button (O) or trip units. (b) Earthing-switch function: Independent-operation closing and opening by lever. Operating energy is provided by a compressed spring which, when released, causes the contacts to open or close. (c). Opening releases- shunt trip

Switch: The switch shall use low pressure SF6 gas for current interruption and shall require no maintenance. The switch enclosure shall be mounted horizontally within the cubicle and the position of the main and earthing contacts shall be clearly visible from the front of the cubicle. The position indicator shall be placed directly on the contact-operating shaft. The switch enclosures shall be made of cast epoxy resin. The mechanical endurance of the switch operating mechanisms shall ensure at least1000 operations class M1. LBS Panel: Medium voltage switchgear shall comply with the latest issues of the IEC recommendations: IEC 62271-200. Switchgear shall be Free standing, Floor mounted, metal enclosed suitable for Outdoor use. The frame of individual vertical panels shall be minimum 2 mm CRCA. Degree of protection shall not be less than IP55. All hardware shall be corrosion resistant. Busbar shall be high conductivity Copper supported on insulators made of non-hygroscopic, non-inflammable material. Panel shall be provided with earth busbar of copper of suitable size rated for short time rating of switch board and Provision for receiving incoming or outgoing power cable

through rear bottom entry. All metal surface shall be thoroughly cleaned, processed under 7 tank treatment Earthing of the Power Circuit: Cable earthing shall be carried out by an earthing switch with a short-circuit making capacity, in accordance with IEC 62271-102 recommendations. It shall be possible to operate the earthing switch when the switch or disconnector is open. Mechanical interlocking systems (rotating switch with 3 positions )shall be provided to prevent incorrect operations such as the closing of the earthing switch with the switch or disconnector in closed position Control Wiring: The wiring shall be carried out using multi-strand copper conductor super flexible PVC insulated wires of 650/1100V Grade for AC Power. Control terminals shall be screw type for auxiliary wiring Minimum 10% spare terminals shall be provided for control circuit. Note:- Extra 02 Nos additional set of HRC fuses suitable for protection of 63 KVA transformer shall be provided by the contractor

Supply and fixIing of 11 KV HT Bus bar, Outdoor type, suitable for 11000 Volts, AC 3 Phase supply, 400 Amps, Unit fabricated out of 3.15 mm steel or MS steel enclosure suitable with MS Base Channel. The panel contains the equipments & components complete with copper bus bar interconnections, designation labels caution notices and pad locking facilities wherever required. The size of the bus bar not less than 1200x1000x800 mm to accommodate the incoming and outgoing cable connections with front and back hinged doors with proper locking arrangement, rubber gasket on front and back to make it dust and vermin proof, powder coated. The cubicle shall have frame work, bottom & 50 Cm long four legs of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm Angle iron. The panel shall be mounted on floor with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (with 20 mm graded stone aggregate) foundation block of suitable size upto 40 cm above the ground and 60 cm below the ground level.

The panels is finished with powder coated paint - Siemens Grey Ral 7032 and the panels is consisiting of following accessories :- (a) Copper Bus of capacity 400 amps, 3 P, Air insulated with colour coded RYB Heat shrinkable sleeves (b) Earth bus 40 x 6 mm copper bus bar. (c) Danger Notice Board Note :- 1. Panel shall be installed at least 60 cm above ground 2. All civil/electrical work & material is deemed to be included in the quoted rates 3. Drawing of HT bus bar shall be got approved from GE.

(e) Bus bar suitable for 200 Amps, mounted on insulators- 04 No's made of copper dulydrilled hole for cable connections. OUTGOING: (a) MCCB 63 amps , 16 KA 3 pole, Ics= 100% of Icu, Fixed type Qty- 02 nos (b) MCCB 40 Amps, 16 KA 3 pole, Ics= 100% of Icu, Fixed type Qty- 02 Nos

(c) All accessories prewired with suitable size copper conductor cable/strip including thimble/cable lugs with foundation of panel as required or recommended by manufacturer: Note :- 1. Panel shall be installed at least 60 cm above ground 2. All civil/electrical work & material is deemed to be included in the quoted rates 3. Drawing of Lt panel shall be got approved from GE. 4. panel shall confirm to IEC - 61439 updated to date. 5. All MCCB's shall be confirm to ICS=100% of ICU.

Earthing complete as per electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part I with copper earth plate earth electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm, burried directly vertically in ground in a pit of depth not less than 2.5 metres below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.8 m below normal ground level connected to and including copper earthing strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing wire protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 50 mm bore medium grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole/ test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be inclusive of excavation and earth work in any type of soil,charcoal, salt,funnel , PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & directed. Note 1- following items deemed to be included in quoted rate (a) Earth electrode. (b) Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point and further to equipment to be earthed upto 7.5 metre. (c) Material and labour for connecting earth electrode and earthing lead as specified. (d) Adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt as per direction. . .

(e) All labour involved including testing of earth net work (f) Excavation and earth work or drilling hole for electrode (g) P.C.C. pit and C.I. cover. (h) Funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh and copper lugs etc. as specified. (j) G.I. protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. Note 2 - On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

The earthing shall be inclusive of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel , PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note 1- following items deemed to be included in quoted rate (a) Earth electrode. (b) Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point and further to equipment to be earthed upto 7.5 metre. (c) Material and labour for connecting earth electrode and earthing lead as specified.

(d) Adequate quantity of charcoal, dust, common salt and ground enhacement material as required to bring the earthing resistance as per direction. (e) All labour involved including testing of earth net work. (f) Excavation and earth work or drilling hole for electrode. (g) P.C.C. pit and C.I. cover. (h) Funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh and copper lugs etc. as specified. (j) G.I. protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. Note 2 - On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75 x 75 x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out in soft/loose or any type of soil including boulder for taking up or laying of cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge

Returning, filling in any type of soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm. complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting pointcomplete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand cushioning for 8 cm before laying the cable and then after laying the cable 15 cm width of trenches for protection of cables including punning down complete all as specified. Note :- Thickness of sand cushioning shall be the thickness after punning down.

Supply and fixing of Brick tiles; common burnt clay building /ducts bricks’ sub-class `B’ Designation 75 (230mmx115mmx75mm) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement of un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peack, size 300mm x 180mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 80 mm dia GI tubing,light grade,for protection of cable passing across the road,under floor etc,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Danger notice plate made of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters , figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S clamps , bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25mm X 20mm X 1.6mm size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F PCC Cable Route Indicators of size 600mm x 300mm x 50mm with letters inscribed on both sides as "MES HT CABLE" or "MES LT / HT CABLE" of specified font size not less 60mm as directed and mounted on PCC 450mm x 300mm x 300 mm complete using PCC 1:2:4 B-1(using 20mm crushed stone aggregate) and including painting with cement based paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for sand filling under floors or in foundation incl watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

Machine pressed precast interlocking paver blocks any shape and size of 60 mm thick with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete type B-0 1:2:4 (12.5 mm gradedcrushed stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed.
