The RMU Panel should have following general characteristics: (i) Enclosure degree of portection - IP54 (ii) Degree of protection of Tank - IP67 (iii) Type of Ventilation - Natural (iv) Rated power frequency withstand - 28 kv Voltage KV rms,min (v) Rated lighting impulse withstand - 75 kv Voltage KV (vi) Short time current rating KA, for sec - 21kA/3sec (vii) Rated short ckt making current - 52.5kA (viii) Reference standard - IEC62271-200

NOTE - (i) Necessary drawings shall be got approved by Accepting Officer before placing order and Pre Delivery Inspection/ Factory Inspection including testing shall be carried out by the rep of Accepting Officer. (ii) The cost of PCC platform for mounting RMU Panel as per manufacturer's instructions shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Vacuum Circuit Breaker of 800 Amps, at 11 KV rated, fault level of 25 KA for 3 sec, totally enclosed, air insulated metal clad housing, horizontal isolation, vermin proof, fully interlocked horizontal draw out type operation sequence 0-0.3 sec-CO-3 min - CO having double isolation, both the incomers shall be interlocked (Electrically) with Bus coupler. The offered panels shall be tested for IAC level of min 25 kA/1s, complete all as specified and directed and consisting of the following for incoming :-

(i) Manually and motor operated, spring charged (release closing mechanism) trip free type, triple pole truck mounted draw out, Vacuum Circuit Breaker, incorporating mechanical as well as electrical ON/OFF indication. Spring charge/discharge mechanical indication ''OFF'' push buttons for emergency trip (shrouded) test/service position limit switches with min 6 NO/6 NC breaker auxiliary contact in service position, 30/24 volts DC shunt trip coil and strip heaters with thermostat switch. One heater in CT chamber and One heater at VCB chamber to prevent moisture absorption. Rated Volatge level/PF withstand Voltage/Impulse level:12 kV/38 kV/95 kV for the altitude of upto 2000 mtr above MSL. (ii) 800 Amp air insulated but encapsulated copper bus bar tinned coated. (iii) C.T chamber with double wound C.T's 400/200/5A/5A, (separate core for metering and separate core for protection) 15 VA burden, Class 5P 10 for protection and class 0.5 for instrumentation-03Nos. (iv) Voltage Transformer with 3 numbers 1 phase, 3 limbs connected in star, class 0.5 accuracy, 11 KV/ 3/110V/ 3, 100 VA burden, with primary & secondary fuses and isolating plugs. (v) Following protection shall be provided:- (a) Microprocessor based 3 Nos. outer elements for over current and one middle earth - fault with IDMT self power relay with shunt trip on 30/24 Volts, DC consisting 3 element overcurrent relay with setting from 50 to 200% and earth fault with setting from 10 to 80%. (b) Anti pumping relay and Master trip relay. (vi) All wiring necessary for the above including inter-connections. The size of the conductor should not be less than 1.5 sq mm copper wire where required. (vii) Test termninal box fuses/2A SP MCB, circuit labels, set of phases, indication lamps etc, as per standard practice as under:-

(a) Red breaker closer (ON) (b) Green breaker open (OFF) (c) Amber-Auto trip (d) Clear-trip circuit healthy (e) 3 Phase Indication (R, Y, B) (f) Blue spring charged (viii) The following meters are to be provided:- (a) Digital type frequency meter range 45 to 55 Hz. (b) Digital voltmeter range 0-15 KV and suitable for 110 AC square dial with shrouded terminal & protection fuses. (c) Digital Ammeter 0-100A rating. (d) Power factor meter-Range-0.5 lag to 0.5 lead. (ix) 6 Nos. window annunciation panel with audio & visual indicator as: (a) Over Current & earth fault-02 windows (b) Spares-04 windows (x) Power pack unit 220V AC to 24 Volt DC complete with battery backup (maintenance free) for operation of relays including charging equipment 01 set (xi) Control :- T-N-C (Trip, Neutral, Close) Breaker control switch with indication arrangement. (xii)Terminal box with single gland trifucating cable box suitable for 11 KV aluminium XLPE cable of size 3x300 Sqmm for incoming breaker. (xiii) HT Danger Plate (As per specification) (xiv) 2 Runs of not less than 30x6mm earth bus bar shall be provided for full length of the panel.

(vii) Terminal box with single gland trifucating cable box suitable for 11 KV aluminium XLPE cable of size 3x300 Sqmm for incoming breaker. (viii) HT Danger Plate (As per specification) (ix) 2 Runs of not less than 30x6mm earth bus bar shall be provided for full length of the panel. (x) Integrated earth switch as required. (xi) Bus Couplar consists of following:- (a) Bus riser with busbar (b) without CT's, PT, Protection and meters (c) Mechanical and electrical interlocking with incomers

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21KA for 3 sec (Rated Short Circuit), extensible both side, Outdoor type, 3 way RMU Panel with 1 LBS & 2 VCB, SF6 insulated, 11 KV Ring Main Unit contained within Robotically welded 3mm thick Stainless Steel Tank & 2mm GI sheet for outer enclosure suitable for outdoor use (without kiosk) free standing type tested for internal arc test for IAC AFL for 21KA for 1sec. RMU shall be suitable for operation at an altitude of 1700 meter above MSL. RMU shall all as specified and directed and comprising of the following:- (1) 2 Nos.- 630 Amp, 21KA, triple pole, manually operated Vacuum Ciruit Breaker encapsulated in SF6 Stainless steel tank with independent spring mechanism and fully rated earth switch with provision for earth of the cable. (2) 2 Nos.- Air insulated cable boxes with split gland plate suitable for front side bottom entry 3 core cable up to 300 sqmm. (3) 1 No.- 630 Amp, 21KA, triple pole, single break, 3-position ('ON', 'OFF' and 'EARTH') ring main switches, each with independent mannual charged spring mechanism and fully rated earth switch, with provision for earth and test of the cable. (4) 1 No. - Air insulated cable boxes and glands suitable for front and bottom cable entry 3-core upto 300 sq mm. The Ring Main Unit should comprise of the following accessories:- (a) 1 Mimic diagram on front panel complete with status indicators. (b) 1 Set of positive standard mechenical interlocks. (c) 2 Set of curent transformers for protective relays with suitable ratio class CT 200-100/5 A, Class 5P10, 2.5VA for protection. (d) 2 Nos. Self Powered Numerical relay with 3 O/c and 1 E/F. (e) 1 No. Power pack equipment with backup of 15 minutes for operation for relays. (f) 3 Set of Live cable indicators with indications (Voltage Presence Indicator) at the front and three inlets provisions to check the synchronization of phase.

(g) 1 No. External stud for earthing connections. (h) 1 No. SF6 gas pressure indicator for each SF6 Gas tank. (j) 3 Nos. local ' PULL/PUSH TO TRIP' mechanism. (k) 1 No. operating handles. (l) 1 Set Copper bus bars common for outgoing feeders minimum size of 300 sq.mm. (m) Manual charging for operation arrangement. (n) Front bottom entry of HT cables. (o) 3 sets of right angel boots. (p) Paint finish - All steel work will be finish painted in Dark grey shade 632 as per IS Code. (v) 2 Nos. of epoxy moulded Trip Coil with the Vacuum Circuit Breaker for Protection purpose. Supply, laying, jointing and testing of cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (earthed, heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 33000 volts grade of size 3 core 300 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cable jointing kit for 33 KV grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 300 sqmm complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The quoted rate shall be inclusive of jointing and connecting up of 300 sqmm cable with RMU unit installed near BDS gate by rep of OEM.

Supply and fixing of cable jointing kit for 33 KV grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 300 sqmm complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The quoted rate shall be inclusive of jointing and connections.

Supplying and fixing HT junction box for Cable termination suitable for 33000 volts grade, Outdoor type, double door, cubical type, pedestal mounted, overall size not less than 1500 x 1500 x 1500 mm, having aluminium bus bar of capacity 630 A, 3 phase, dust and vermin proof & lockable, factory made, fabricated out of 3 mm thick CRCA sheet powder coated of Siemens grey colour suitable for 3 Phase 50 Hz, AC 33000 volts supply, duly insulated with heat shrinkable type sleeves as per colour code, supported on polymer/pocelain based insulators - 01 Set, danger notice board of 33 KV rating, angle iron pedestal made up off 100 x 100 x 8 mm angle iron frame work , approximate height from base above PCC level is 600 mm , below 150mm PCC foundation and above 600 mm PCC foundation for holding of Panel, duly painted all around grouting using PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including independent plates at bottom for each outgoing and incoming cables and including necessary earthwork as per site requirement in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (1) Supply, fixing and connecting up with 4 sq mm copper wire along with 01xDP switch including 32 Amps SPN for Space heater of capacity not below 500 watts is to be included in the unit rate quoted. (2) Complete excavation earth work and matching with existing surface, PCC work, paint work, etc are to be included in the unit rate quoted. (3) Contractor shall approve the drawing of HT Junction Box of OEM from Accepting Officer prior commencement of work.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for outdoor termination , heat shrink type, joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- (1) Supply, fixing and connecting up with 4 sq mm copper wire along with 01x DP switch including 32 Amps SPN for Space heater of capacity not below 500 watts is also to be included in the unit rate quoted. (2) Complete excavation earth work and matching with existing surface is also to be included in the unit rate quoted. (3) Contractor shall approve the drawing of HT Junction Box of OEM fromAccepting Officer prior commencement of work.

Material and labour for sand cushioning to under ground cables, with a layer of M-sand 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable punned down upto 18cm and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast PCC cable Cover, class EHV, ISI marked, type- I with flat size 600mm x 230mm x 50mm for covering cables laid down flat as cable protection on sand complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast PCC cable Cover, class HV, ISI marked, type- I with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for covering cables laid dry flat as cable protection on sand all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for GI tubing light grade including all fittings such as elbow, bends, clamps including nuts and bolts, ISI marked of 100 mm dia bore for cable protection along poles, wall surface, under ground or road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for GI tubing light grade including all fittings such as elbow, bends, clamps including nuts and bolts, ISI marked of 150 mm dia bore for cable protection along poles, wall surface, under ground or road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F HT/ LT MS cable route indicator , engraved the description on the disc not less than 6 inch dia and 6 mm thick welded with 40x6 mm MS strip of approximate length 90 cm duly painted on all steel parts as per colour code and provision of PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of not less than 0.05 cum in each at base burried under the ground including necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete for RMU complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing of machinery/equipment installed at power house/substation complete using 32x6mm GI Strip and GI plate of size 600 x 600 x 6mm, as earth electrode earthing, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level , connecting to galvanised iron strip 32x6 mm GI strip as earthing lead, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts nuts and washers test point made of copper strip 25 x 3mm, 10cm long including provn of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, angle iron 25 x 25 x 3mm frame work with Pre Cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm c/c both ways and 12mm dia MS fabricated handle, 20 mm dia medium grade GI watering pipe with funnel, wire mesh and light grade GI protection pipe 40mm bore upto 5m length for drawing in earth lead, salt, charcoal, etc including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note: The unit quoted rate of earthing shall be deemed to included cost of 7.5m long strip 32x6 mm, protection pipe of 40 mm bore light grade and GI 20mm dia medium grade watering pipe. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order.

M&L for Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide or n exc 10 sq m on plan, depth exc 1.5m but n exc 3.0m for foundation, etc or for laying of cables, poles, pipes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed. Note: Entire excavation shall be carried out manually only. No machinery such as JCB/Excavator shall be used for excavation to avoid damage of existing electric supply/water supply/signal assets. This aspect shall be noted by bidders while quoting the bid.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down the existing HT over head ACSR line from any description complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down the existing LT/HT insulators of any type from any description complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out the existing HT 11 mtr pole of any type complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling stay assembly complete all as specified and directed.
