M&L for premixed bituminous macadam with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller including preparation of existing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface s with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (design mix) with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller including preparation of existing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface s with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm, exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers (75 mm thick each layer) with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) & of grading 3 ( 50 to 20 mm size), lime stone, sand stone flint or quartzile spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient to camber required, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 7 here-in-before but except material and in two layer of 150 mm thick (consolidated thickness), complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Old material retrieved from serial item No. 7 should be re-used.

Material and labour 200 mm thick spread thickness soiling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone spread and leveled interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller consolidated to required gradient or camber, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour preparing water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm and provn of premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using crushed graded stone aggregate mixed with binder content of paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder contents by weight of total mix by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonnecapacity power roller including preparation of bitumen carpet in digital computerized weigh batch hot mix plant, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content as 5.50% of the total mix by weight. In case of any variation on minus side in the weight of binder as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs 40 per Kg. and recovery for the same shall be effected from the contractor. However the variation in the weight of bitumen is on plus side, nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Material and labour 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) of granite, basalt or Trap spread, rolled with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity and consolidated to gradient and required camber, with 8 to 12 tonne power, complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 22.5 cm deep and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L rolling and consolidation of formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm with PAMA striplens reflector of fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F dual directional reflective cat eye aluminium casted stud 100 x 100 mm having three round plastic ABS discs containing 21 mini retro-reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow a side provided with steel zinc plated nails of dia 12mm of length 120mm for fixing to road by hammering complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing dual directional reflective cat eye of impact resistant ABS plastic stud 100 x 100 mm having ultra violet resistant colour (white/red/yellow) with plastic strip containg 1x2=62 mini retro reflective glass beads of white/red/yellow to a side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12 mm and of length 120 mm for fixing to road by hammering , complete all as specified.

Supply and Fixing in repairs stainless steel location board type 'C' of size 100 cm x 76 cm, made up of stainless steel tubes framing of grade Fe 304, with top board at 9 ft above ground, with letters, figures sand base of high density prismatic retro reflective tape of superior quality on both sides of the aluminium composite pannels (ACP) 3 mm thick, including necessary excavation of potholes of size 30 cm x 30 cm x 60 cm deep with PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing of solar road delineator 3 LEDs of colour red/yellow housed in plastic body. LEDs, solar-cells, battery and light sensor well protected inside polycarbonate sheet, device protected with power coated wire mesh cage. System mounted over 47 mm dia steel tube powder coated of length 600 mm having sheet foot for firm grip to ground. Delineator to have additional reflective bands. System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge of 8 to 10 hours, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective cautionary/warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type-IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc as per IRC; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class-2 ASTM-D 4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a verticle post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing and fixing with M.S message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (verticla MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours). Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coatsof epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc, complete as per drawing, specification and direction of Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125 x 125 x 25 mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 watt one Nl-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600 MA) consisting of super bright LED) with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufacturer's instructions etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Factory made rectro reflective road sign boards comprising of two aluminium plates of size 1000x760mm each fixed over each other and fixed to frame with 25x5mm stainless steel fasteners welded to frame at one end and rivetted to aluminium sheet at other end. 2mm thick aluminum plates shall be framed in 40mm dia stainless steel tube (16 guage) grade Fe 304. The plates shall be provide with Dennison HIP base green and written on both side indicating the directions, alphabets, arrow, lines, diagrams etc on each sides with computrised cut letters and signs (reflective) as directed of appropriate size and white in colour alongwith 20mm wide border all around. Stainless steel tube frame shall be supported on 40mm dia stainless steel tube legs (16 guage) of height 1800mm, embedded in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 blocks of size 300x300x600mm including earthwork excavation, removal of surplus soil to a distance exc. 250m but not exc 500m as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement Solor cat eye (Dual directional) Solar road stud having 3 LEDs of colours red/yellow to a side (total 6 Nos ) housed in tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125mmx125mm or 120mmx130mm of height 20mm with nails 37mm x 37mm x 55mm long with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy. LEDs, solar-cells, battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable poly carbonate transparent sheet roof system workable for 2-3 days(nights) after full charge in 8-10 hours complete all as per manufacturer's instructions.

S&F of aluminium body road studs of size 100 x 100 x 20 mm fixing with MS nails of 10 mm dia to bear the maximum load with reflectors on two sides of red or yellow colours, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting lines dahses, arrows, letter etc on road, pavement and the like not exceeding 10 cm wide with hot thermoplastic road marking materials and conofrming to Ministry of surface transport (MOST) specification 803.4 laid down in specification of Road/Bridge work "third revision" over priming as per manufacturers instructions including grass breads (intermix) type - I MOST/BS6088A and provn contained in IRC-35, 1997, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L continuous brick edging with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry on the width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically with burnt clay bricks of sub class B of old size bricks complete all as specified.

Notes : The Schedule of Credit amount shall be deducted from the total of this schedule(BoQ) to arrive at Contract Sum.
