Notes for item NOs 01to 07 : Rates against these items includes for :
(i) Cleaning and clearing/disposing off all the sludge/ sewage contaminated water in solid / semi solid / liquid state from sewage lines, manholes, septic tanks etc as detailed in items shall be maintained for blockage free and smooth functioning of all the sewage lines and related sewage items as detailed in items for a period of 330 (Three Hundred Thirty) days i.e., the date of completion of contract given in work order No-1. The complaints shall be collected from the office of Engineer-in-charge at 9.00 AM by contractor/Contractor's representative and shall be got signed from the user occupant after clearing the complaints. These complaint slips will also be got signed at Engineer-in-charge office after the satisfactory completion of each complaint. No complaint shall be kept pending/unattented for a period of 48 hours. Any damage to manhole covers, gully tarp covers, CI assess doors of CI pipes any dia, PVC pipes/fitting, 'P' traps, floor traps during the process of cleaning/clearing shall be made good by the contaractor by replacing same with new without ant extra cost to the Govt.
(ii) If contractor fails to complete the complaint within stipulated period i.e 48 Hrs a recovery of Rs 200 per complaint per day shall be levied.
(iii) Length of pipeline shall be measured from centre to centre of manhole.
