350 mm thick PQC cement work with minimum flexural str 45 kg per sq centimeters using minimum 450 kg of cement per cubic meter design mix laid with mechanical paver as specified and consolidated in bays to required gradient and camber including necessary steel form work & including necessary curing compound and using non circular traingular synthetic fibre recron 3S of 12 mm size @ 0.25% of weight of cement compolete all as specified. Note- (i) Nothing to be paid over and above 450kg/CUm. (ii) Non circular traingular synthetic fibres shall be measured and paid seperately as supply under respective items.

Forming 25 mm wide expansion joints through the full thickness of the PQC ie 350 mm deep for quality concrete slab with performed bitumen filled board and cleaning 50 mm deep left over top cavity and top 10mm primed with two coat of primer and filled with poilyurethane sealent over 25 mm dia poliethilyne backup rod using bond breaker tape over backup rod including pasting polyethilyne adhessive tape 26 mm wide along on the both edges of joint and removing the same after filling and tooling the material inside the joint remove spilled material complete all asper manufacturer instruction with movement accomodation factor + 30 % asper BS-56818 with aperformance warranty of 10 years complete all as specified and directed by GE. Note:- Contractor shall obtain & provide 10 Years performance guarenty certificate from manufacturer for sealent to the GE.

Forming construction joints 10 mm wide and 75 mm deep asper drg priming the sides with two coat of primer and top 10 mm filled with polyurethane joint sealent over 12 mm dia polyethylene adhessive up rod using bond breaker tape over backup rod material including pasting polyethylene adhessive tape 26 mm wide all along on the both edges of joint and removing the same after filling and tooling the mtrl inside the joint to remove spilled of over mtrl complete all as manufacturing instruction with movement accn factor + 30% asper BS 56818 with a performance warranty of 10 years complete all as specified and directed by GE . Note:- Contractor shall obtain & provide 10 Years performance guarenty certificate from manufacturer for sealent to the GE.

Forming dummy /contraction joint with an intial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upon a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thckness of the slab widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring sealant placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia application of bond breaker tape on tape of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealent complying with BS5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MFA) OF +/- 30% having minimum 10 years preformance guarantee applying maksed tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling . of seleant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

SCHEDULE `A' PART-VI (SEC-II) (LIGHTENING PROTECTION WORK) Note : This schedule is not pre priced by MES and the pre priced rate indicated as "Rs. 0.00" under Col.5 signifies this fact only.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to and including 32 x 6 mm GI earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate no 3 of MES Part-1, including testing on completion including the material.

a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1. (c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm. (d) Funnel with watering pipe of Gl 20 mm nominal bore medium grade and copper lugs etc all as specified. (e) 40 mm nominal bore light grade Gl protection pipe 5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (g) Testing of earthing

Notes: (i) On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not less than 5 ohm obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.The unit rate includes Gl pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth lead. (ii) The unit rate includes main earthing lead/strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 meter. (iii) In case measured value of earth resistance is recorded more than 5.0 ohms then the Earthing shall be re- done by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. (iv) If there is a requirement of grid earthings to achieve the desired earth resistance, as directed by Eng-in-charge, then inter connecting of different earthings shall be done at no extra cost.

Material and labour for cable route indicators, engraved with type, size and voltage of cable painted, embedded in PCC block (1:2:4) type B-1 of size 150 × 100mm fixed in ground at 0.5 mtr height above ground level with the 40×40×5 mm MS angle indicating the route of cable all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of PCC/hard standing/WBM road not exceeding 20 Cm in width not exceeding 30 cm in depth for passing LT cable and making good of distrubed surface to match the existing sufaces by using old and new material i.e bitumen/PCC (1 :3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as per specified and directed.
