Supplying and laying in trenches clear sand for cushioning underground cable 8 cm below and 15 cm above complete in level all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old / unserviceable underground LT cables and connections including pipes, bricks or precast concrete cable cover etc of any type and size from trenches / walls / poles of any cross sectional area and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete in replacement with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level, connected to and including galvanised iron earth wire 32 X 6 mm by means of nut, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and provision of charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate including necessary excavation and earth work in soft / loose soil and testing complete all as specified and directed and shown in electrical plate Number 3 of MES SSR part-I (2009). (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in soft / loose soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg / Sqm. Material and labour for LT panel box size (1.0 X 1.0 X 0.6 mm) having thickness of 3.15mm and inner shell made out of 2mm thick mild steel sheet and mild steel angle section 50 x 50 x 6 mm mounted on PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 platform 60 cm above and 45 cm below the ground level, frame factory fabricated with front openable double door system and cable alloy (Each door hinged with body at 3 places with body and hinges should be welded with body and door) lockable / openable by keys having chromium plated 19 mm dia fancy lock, “U” type gasket shall be used to make the outer shell completely vermin proof suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 415 Volt, 50 Hz, tested at factory approved from CPRI factory fabricated having modern fabrication and testing process followed by powder coat painting having thickness not less than 100 microns provided with suitable gasket to make it dust / vermin proof and general construction confirming to IS : 8623 / 93 complete all as specified and as directed.
