Repair/maintenance and servicing of step down transformer 11 KV/433 Volt of capacities 100 to 250 KVA, of any make, Installed at different locations of AOR comprising following work services :- (a) Disconnection carefully of cable end termination of HT & LT side. (b) Opening of top cover by removing nuts, bolts and all mounting accessories and conservator tanks. (c) Draining out transformer oil and keeping aside in barrel for re-use and then again pouring back after necessary filteration and dehydration including top up with new transformer oil to make up the reduced quantity. (d) Replacement of top gaskets. (e) Servicing of tap changing gears by cleaning and polishing tapping contact points. (f) Labour only for cleaning of bush and stud both HT/LT side and refixing the same with new cock sheet as required. (g) Replacing unserviceable stud and bush as required as directed by engineer-in-Charge. (h) Reconnection of all cable terminals HV & LV sides and refixing the top cover after replacement of gaskets, conservator tank in position. (j) Cleaning and heating of silica gel in breather and replacing with new silica gel to make up the reduced quantity. (k) Connecting HT & LT side with existing incoming and outgoing cables including reconnection of earth strip/lead. (l) Provision of a functional transformer of same or higher capacity while the transformer is taken for repair. (m) Any transportation of the transformer to and from the location of installation to the contractors workshop, including installation back as specified by engineer in charge. Note : (i) Spare parts not mentioned above (if required) will be measured and paid separately. (ii) New transformer oil (if required for topping up) will be measured and paid separately. (iii) De-hydration of existing transformer oil for refilling will be measured and paid separately. (iv) The transformers have to be taken for repair and a replacement transformer of same or higher capacity to be placed within 48 hrs from intimation in phone/ through whatsapp, irrespective of any weather issues. For this purpose, the contractor has to submit a functional phone and whatsapp number that is not to be switched off at any time. Any delay beyond this time will be fined at the rate of Rs. 1000 per day per transformer
