Preparing of ground by laying 100mm thick good earth and cattle manure in the ratio of 4:1, mixing, leveling and laying of CARPET GRASS over it complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for digging a trench of dia 0.45 m, depth 0.45 m (Minimum), spreading the excavated soil and refilling with good soil and cattle manure in the ratio of 4:1, mixing, levelling, racking, supply and planting of Hedge (3-4 feet ) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Continuous brick edging, using burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B', with width equal to width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically, including necessary excavation, tamping ground around bricks etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface dressing not exc. 15 cm deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dressing of bricks and Maintainance of plants, flowers, hedges, carpet grass by regular watering dewatering, de-weeding, cutting / shaping, trimming, adding fertilizer for a period of twenty four months after completion of Phase-I work. Note: 1. 01 x Gardener (Mali) will be deployed for (08 hours per day) by the contractor daily for maintainance. The attendence register will be maintained for Gardener (Mali) by Engr-in-Charge. 2. Tools and machineries required for cutting/ shapping, trimming of plants and hedges will be provided by the contractor as and when required. 3. Maintainance of Ser No. 1 to 12 will be carried out under this item for a period of 24 months. 4. Penal charges will be levied as follows:-(i) Nonemployment of Gardeners (Mali) specified above @ Rs 600/-day per person. (ii) Non replacement of burnt / nongrowth trees / plant / lawngrass / shrubs / saplings / hedges etc @ quoted rate of that particular trees / plant / lawn grass / shrubs /saplings /hedges.
