Servicing of DG Set 100 KVA of any Make, checking entire system as per manufacturer's catalogue such as checking all parts for serviceablility, taking down defective parts such as fuel filter assy, by pass filter assembly, lub oil filter assembly, air cleaner assy,air filter, flexible hose pipe, radiator coolent , distill water, Tightening the base bolt and nuts and mounting bolts and nuts. etc and replacing the same with same size, make and capacity of parts, draining out the old used burnt engine oil from the sump cleaning all serviceable filters and oil sump with cleaning solution such as petrol/ diesel and refilling new engine oil upto required level, cleaning of battery terminals with warm water ,Checking the radiator and radiator hose and arresting small leaks ,Checking the fuel pump timing and adjusting if required and including testing to DG Set to entire satisfaction of Engr-in Charge. Note:-
(i) Spare parts/ Engine oil/ check kit/ filter shall be measured and paid for saperately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Minimum 6 months gap/ 200 hrs of run whichever is earlier shall be considered for next service (iii) Repair Guarantee for replaced parts/servicing of DG Set shall be for six month/200 hrs from the date of service. (iv )Cost of small spares required for maint of DG set shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (v) Service Engineer must be skilled and must have knowledge of maintenance of DG sets and attending minor and major fault when it arise.

Material and labour for disconnecting electrical and mechanical connections of the following capacity altrernator, 415V, 50 HZ removing from foundation/ diesel engine coupling and transporting private work shop, dismantling the alternator in parts and removing the burn out copper winding coil carefully, cleaning slots and replacing the insulation paper and re-winding 'F' class copper conductor winding wire of existing size/ shape, glass sleeves of connecting leads, binding/ tightening loose coils with binding cloths, varnishing and applying the bactol on the excitor coil/ winding with supper varnish, heating the windings at appropriate tempeature to achive required insulation resistance with out damaging the other parts, replacement of driving and non-driving end bearings, cleaning, greasing, reassembling/ installing/ connecting and testing with megger for insualtion resistance etc., complete all as specified and as directed .
Notes :-
(i) Rewinding of alternator, repairing of main shaft replacement of unserviceable bearings are deemed to be included in the unit rate.
(ii) Replacement of AVR will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.
(iii) Minor parts required to make the alternator serviceable are deemed to be included in the unit rate.
