Removing old broken legs from charpoy GI. Replacing with legs of GI pipe made out of short rail retrieved vide Serial Item No 4.00 and 6.00, duly threaded at one end minimum upto 22mm to be fitted to the frame. The lower end of the leg shall be provided with a 5mm thick, 32mm dia mild steel sheet with continuous welding duly affixed with 3mm thick hard rubber sheet using synthetic adhesive end including provision of FMN set complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing old unserviceable Nylon Newar from Charpoy GI pipe. Supply and fixing 12mm thick plywood type of size 1980 X 900mm, (Grade : Boiling water resistant, (BWR), IS 303 : 1989) to GI pipe frame by providing 02 No's of flat iron of size 50mm X 6mm of length equal to width of GI charpoy. Flat iron stiffener shall be painted with two coats of black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, to fix it tightly to GI Charpoy with the help of nut, bolt of size 62-65mm and 6mm dia by drilling holes into GI pipe and flat iron. The plywood shall be fixed on the charpoy by drilling 12 No's hole (02 No's on each long rail alongwith flat irons, 02 No's each short rail and 02 No's on each flat iron) and fixing it with round headed nut and bolt of size 62-65mm and 6mm dia and tightening the complete frame complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
