M&L for premix bituminous macadam with 4% paving bitumen binder, laid/ rolled and compacted to require gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75mm ), complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

M&L for bituminious premix semi dense alphaltic concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5,5% binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of Self Propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity including premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of paving bitumen applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note for serial item No 4 and 5:- (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions tjill it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these itrems shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specifiedand directed (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadamı & πο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessiated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately (iv) The design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item

M&L for red moorum filling in road side berms not exc 15 cm thick, spread levelled and rammed including watering.

M & L for thermoplastic road marking paint not less than 2.5mm thick white or golden yellow colour confirming to BS-6088, in the arrow, dashes and letter applied hot using application unit and retroflective gass @250 to 300 gms/sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacturer's instruction etc including racking out, removing existing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair stainless steel location board of size 1.500m x 0.90m, made up of 50mm stainless steel tubes framing of grade Fe 304, with top board at 8 ft above ground, with letters figures sand base of high density prismatic ratro reflective tape of superior quality on both sides of the aluminium composite pannels (ACP) 3 mm thick, including necessary excavation for potholes of size 30cmx30cmx60cm deep with PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping, free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50 mm but not exc 100 mm and removal of debries out side from the land complete all as specified and directed

Material & labour for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated with power roller 8-10 tone to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed

Preparation unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG10 @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm on unsurfaced water bound macadam all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted Each 5.00 with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1.2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed removal of spoil to distance n. exc 50m etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed
