The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Years of experience of technical personnel in Road Works, Building Works, and Other works * Experience of sub-contractors in similar work * Value of contracts and stipulated period of completion for existing commitments and on-going construction works * Financial reports for the last five years, which may include information on the value and percentage of similar works completed The bidder must have satisfactorily completed one similar work, with a certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of EE. The bidder should have executed and received payments for a total annual volume of civil engineering construction work of a certain value over the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder should have work experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, with a certificate issued by the Engineer-in-charge. The bidder should have a minimum qualification and experience for certain positions such as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Engineer, Material Engineer, Lab Technician, and Field Engineer, with minimum experience required ranging from 1 to 5 years. Regarding the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause.
