The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: 1. Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. 2. Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. 3. One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Substantial completions shall be based on 80% (value-wise) or more works completed under the contract. The bidder should have achieved a minimum average financial turnover on execution of civil engineering works of not less than 50% of the proposed contract/contracts applied, during any of the year out of the last five financial years. The bidder should also have experience in construction works of similar nature over the last five years, with details of project name, employer, contract value, and completion date. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, and considering the completed as well as works in progress. The available bid capacity should be more than the total estimated cost of the works. Additionally, the bidder should have a CA-certified annual financial turnover of at least 50% of the value of the tender amount in any one financial year in the last 5 years.
