Repairs to 6 cusec discharge HC pump unit 02 at LIS Patyari . The job involves decoupling of pump of unit no. 02 from the motor and removing the top cover, extraction of shaft and impeller assembly together with bearing bracket by using suitable tools & tackles and skilled technicians. Carriage of the impeller shaft assembly by using manual labour, loading in transport vehicle, carriage to the workshop in the mechanical transport for repairs. Repair to impeller shaft assembly at workshop by way of dismantling and extraction of damaged parts. Job includes repairs to pump shaft and impeller at damaged spots by way of re metaling then finishing to proper size so the shaft and impeller should be balanced. Providing and fitting of 2 nos. bearings (6411-2 nos.) at driving and non driving end. Providing and fitting of new bushes-2 Nos., and applying sufficient amount of grease to avoid excessive wear and tear. Fabrication of glands and studs with nuts. Repair to bearing brackets. Re-assembling of impeller shaft assembly and shifting back to site and there after lowering at proper position, placement of oil seal and closing the top cover along with P/F of new nuts ,bolts and studs. Coupling the pump with the motor . P/F of gland packing .Priming the pump .Testing the pump on full load . The Job includes cost of material, labour (skilled and unskilled), loading charges, hire charge of tool and tackles, to and fro carriage charges.

Repair to the leaking portion of 250 mm dia suction pipe of unit no. 2 at LIS Patyari. The Job involves dismantling of the suction pipe by using manual labour and cutting the rusted nuts and bolts by gas cutter, suitable tools and tackles . There after repairs to suction pipe by way of welding of leaking section in double layers from all around and providing / welding of M.S plate collar (suitable thickness) as overlap joint for strengthening. Welding with one root layer and two additional layers with 3.14 mm and 4mm I.S marked M.S welding electrodes to fill the grooves between the pipe, welding to be done by specialized skilled workman , handling with proper tools , tackles, employing semi-skilled workman and suitable tools /tackles. The weld should be spurt and gap free and to be done with good quality electrodes and slag material to be chipped off. Fitting of suction pipe fastening the flanges by using new , bolts and washers.Testing for any leakages. Complete job includes cost of material, hire charges of welding set and diesel generator set, labour charges, manual handling, transportation charges and hiring charges of tools and tackles .Complete Job

Repairs to 200 mm dia foot valve assembly of pumping unit no.02 installed at LIS Patyari. The job involves disconnecting / dismantling of the foot valve assembly from the suction pipe by deploying manual labour and allied tools & tackles. Shifting / transporting to the workshop. Cleaning by washing with water to make the foot valves completely silt free. After drying them completely, carrying out necessary repair works on the valve surfaces and flanged joints by welding using good quality electrodes. Dismantling of damaged / worn-out foot valve mechanism with flap & rings etc. Complete repair to the damaged flap plate and strainer by way welding. Providing / fitting of new rubber washer cut as per size of the flap plate. Reassembling the foot valve and transporting back to the installation site at LIS. Fitting the valves to the respective suction lines with replacement of damaged rubber gaskets of flanged joints and worn-out nuts, bolts etc. Complete job including cost of material, labour charges, transportation charges and hire charges for tools & tackles. The job involves dismantling of the reflux valve by way of cutting of the rusted nuts and bolts with the help of gas cutter, removing of flap. Dismantling of shaft from both sides of flap and fabrication of new shaft as per the actual size .. Providing/fitting of 2 nos. MS flanges at both ends of pipe. Providing/fitting new ball valve for by pass arrangement. Fitment of reflux valve and fitting of new nuts, bolts and washer in place of worn out nuts and bolts . Testing on load.
