The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is as follows: 1. Average Annual Turnover: The Average Annual financial turnover from Civil Engineering Works during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the Advertised Cost. Formula: Average Annual Turnover ≥ 0.3 * Advertised Cost 2. Formula for cumulative financial resources requirement: Bid Capacity Required = Cumulative Financial Resources Requirement for Current Contract Commitments + Financial Resources Requirement for Subject Contract = Σ (Outstanding Contract Value / Remaining Contract period) + 6.00 Crore 3. Another formula for bid capacity is: Assessed Available bid capacity = (A*N*2.5-B) Where: A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the price level of the current financial year at the rate of 8% per year) N = 1.5 (Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited) B = Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed concurrently with the works specified up to the period of “N” above 4. Another formula for bid capacity is: Bid Capacity = (M + B) / N Where: M = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the current financial year at the rate of 8% per year) B = Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed concurrently with the works specified up to the period of “N” N = 1.5 (Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited) Partners of a Joint Venture (JV) should jointly possess the bid capacity.
