The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed one Steel Bridge or similar type of bridge in the last 7 years and current financial year. The completed project should have a span equal to or greater than 80% of the longest span of the Bridge proposed or 100m, whichever is less. The cost of such similar project shall be at least 25% of the Estimated Project Cost. A project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed. The bidder is required to submit a list of work executed in the past 7 years, with a value of at least 90% or more of the original contract price. The Available Bid Capacity (ABC) calculation requires the maximum value of all Civil Engineering works in any one year during the last 5 financial years. Specifically, the values and percentages mentioned are: - 80% of the longest span of the Bridge proposed or 100m, - 25% of the Estimated Project Cost, - 90% of the value of work for a project to be considered completed, - 90% or more of the original contract price for similar works, - 2.5 as a multiplying factor in the ABC formula, - the value of A (maximum value of all Civil Engineering works in any one year) and B (value of the balance ongoing works) are required for the ABC calculation.
