The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have prior work experience in Civil Engineering works. The bidder should submit details of ongoing works and the balance sheets/certificates from a Chartered Accountant indicating the annual turnover of Civil Engineering works constructed in the last 5 years. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed with any Govt agencies/PSU/Municipal Corporation/local Govt bodies three similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of estimated cost of work or two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of estimated cost of work or one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of estimated cost of work in last seven & current financial years. Similar work means - Bituminous Surfacing Works. Substantially completed works means those works which are 90% completed on the date of submission. The bidder should also have employed a Graduate Civil Engineer or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum experience of 2 years or 5 years, respectively. The bidder should submit a list of Engineers on their permanent establishment with qualification and experience on affidavits for the requisite number of Engineers regarding employment with the firm, and copies of Degree/Diploma certificates and experience certificates. The specific values mentioned are: - 40% of estimated cost of work for three similar works - 50% of estimated cost of work for two similar works - 80% of estimated cost of work for one similar work - 90% completion for substantially completed works - Rs. 50 crore for road work - Rs. 20 crores for bridge work and via duct - Rs. 5 Crore for Consultancy Work for preparation of DPR for Bridges Tunnels & EPC roads.
