WAPCOS Limited Tender

A class contractor license in composite category or Civil/Electrical is required to bid or participate in this tender.

The bid capacity required to bid has the following conditions with associated values and formulas: 1. Average annual financial turnover should be at least 50% of the estimated cost of work during the last 3 consecutive financial years. The formula for this condition is: Average annual financial turnover ≥ 0.5 * Estimated cost of work. 2. The contractor should have a positive profit after tax in at least three out of the last five years ending 2023-2024, meaning they should not have incurred any loss in more than two years. 3. The net worth of the company or firm as of 31st March of the previous financial year should be positive. 4. The bidder should have solvency of an amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost after the date of publication of the tender. The formula for this condition is: Solvency ≥ 0.4 * Estimated cost of work. 5. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works with values meeting one of the following conditions: - One similar assignment costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work put to tender. - Two similar assignments of order value each not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work put to tender. - Three similar assignments of order value each not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to tender.
