Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion RS-1 on prepared bitumen/ granular surface cleaned of dust and extraneous materials with mechanical brooms or any other approved equipment and spraying primer @ 0.25kg (zero point two five kilogramme) per square metre with emulsion pressure distributor equiped for spraying uniformly as per MORT&H Specification (5th revision- 2013 or latest edition) of clause 503 including haulage of materials and equipment in all leads and lifts with all modes of transportation and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 40 mm (Forty millimetre) thick Polymer Modified Bituminous Concrete with batch type 60-90 TPH (sixty to ninety tonne per hour) capacity Hot Mix Plant producing an average output of 75 (seventy five) tonne per hour using crushed stone aggregates of Grade 2 nominal size premixed with ploymer modified bitumen binder (elasotmeric theromoplastics based) (refinery blended) i.e. Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB 70) -Type B conforming to IS 15462:2004 (Polymer & Rubber Modified BitumenSepcifications ) & IRC:SP:53-2010 (Guidelines on Use of Modified Bitumen in Road Construction) at the rate of minimum 5.5% (five point five percent) of weight of mix and filler @ 2% (two percent cement of weight of aggregates) with Evotherm dosage or equivalent @ 0.53 % (zero point five three by weight of binder) (IRC:SP:101-2014), as per approved Job mix formula, transporting the hot mix material to work site in clean insulated vehicles covered while in transit or awaiting, tipping and laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H Specification for Road & Bridge Works (Fifth revision-2013) Clause 507 complete including profile correction layer and patching of pot holes including movilization of plants and equipments by mechanical transport, including haulage of materials with in all leads & lifts with all modes of transportation and as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Nothing extra shall be paid for higher bitumen contents if required as per job mix formula.

Providing and laying hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm (Two point five millimetre) thick as per MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision -2013) including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms. (two hundred fifty grams) per square metre area, thickness of 2.5mm (two point five millimetre) is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface is to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. Item includes all leads and lifts of material, machinery by all modes of transportation and other incidental charges required to complete the job as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
