Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency, Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5), Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency, Min Particular Matter Reduction 85%, Min Carbon Monoxide Reduction 90%, Min Hydrocarbon Reduction 90% and Min 70% for all DG sets. TEST REPORTS / CERTIFICATES :- Device (RECD) shall be ‘Type tested’ as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) For Diesel Power Generating Set Engines, vide Pollution Control Series PCLS/12/2021-22 dt 01/02/2022, The test report shall be carried out form Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, of India, recognized/ approved test agencies/laboratories as given below :- (a) Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune)
(b) International Centre for Automotive Testing (ICAT, Manesar)
(c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP, Dehradun)
(d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar).

Back Pressure due to the Emission Control retrofit device :- Maximum back pressure exerted by the Emission Control retrofit device at max prescribed load recommended by the OEM (as per the capacity of the DG set). General Points to be maintained during the commissioning :- (a) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with heat resistant & corrosion resistive paint. (b) Emission Control retrofit device shall be protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. (c) Anti-Vibration mounting pads shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. (d) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device shall be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure that 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. (e) Exhaust piping, extra civil work, distribution board is inclusive in quoted rate. (f) Adequate GI earthings are inclusive in the quoted rated. (g) Before installation of Emission Control Retrofit Device the detailed drawings/ working procedure and testing details shall be submit and Approved by the GE.
