1ST STAGE GMS tube 50mm dia (Heavy class) of wall thickness 4.50mm

Providing welding and fixing of MS flanges at suitable joints to be provided with butt welded joint, confirming to following tables as per IS: 6392-1971 (Lates with upto date amendment) with plain end GMS/MSERW pipe welding in three (one inner and two outer) layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof. The welding of flanges should conform to IS: 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS: 1364. The thicknss of gasket sheet not less than 3.00mm conforming to IS: 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing circumferential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding of GMS/ MSERW pipe, welded in requiste number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 specifications by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.3mm of Advani Orelon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS: 814-1991 at site of work complete in all respect, including manual/ mechanical handling of pipe in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying and jointing including testing of as specified below GMS double flanged bend of all degree with gasket sheet not less than 3mm in thickness conforming to IS: 2712-1985 for GMS pipe manufactured from parent tube i.e. GMS pipe as IS: 1239-1979 with welding as per relevant code. The flanges shallc conforming to IS: 6392-1971 as per table specified below in all respect and to the entire satisaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double flanged cast steel non return valve of 50mm dia of Kifloskar/ Leader/KSB make with providing and welding to rising main conforming to BS: 1868/API-600 as per class ASA-150 and capable of with standing of 21kg/cm2 seat pressure with upto date amendments

Cast steel reflux valve 50mm dia

Providing and fixing screwed type cast steel air valve of 25mm dia (single ball type) of Leader make conforming to BS: 1452-90 with upto date amendements as per class PN-10.00 to withstand a seat pressure of 11.22kg/cm2 in rising main.

Booster stage Pumping machinery (Submersible) Providing and fixing 2Nos. pumping sets complete i/c allied accessories i.e.2 x 7.50 = 15 HP submersible pumping set of KSB/Kirloskar/ Johnston/ Crompton make conforming to BIS: 8034-1976 latest suitable for lifting clear water (latest with upto date ammendements) fitted with bronze impeller of suitable alloys directly coupled to squirrel cage electric induction motor of same make as (manufactrer standard) conformignt to IS: 9283-1979 (latest with update ammendements) and totally water proof for submersible duty, isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber, grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It shoule also be fitted witha device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor including water level guard, errection clamps, cable clips and depth gauge etc. the pump shall be suitable for oeration on data given below:- Please refer to Data Sheet for Item No. 8A to Item 12.

CENTRIFUGAL PUMPING MACHINERY Providing horizontal spindle horizontal split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement) single/double/ multistage centrifugal / pump in series of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/Kirloskar as per BIS-1520-1980 with up to date amendments, read with IS: 9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting Clear water for under mentioned characteristics with bronze impellers/priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze, shaft of steel grade EN-8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a MS/Cast steel base plate ( base plate to be from the manufacturers of the pumping unit only) to Squirrel Cage drip proof induction motor of standard make such as Kirloskar/Crompton/NGEF and suitable for operation on 400 (+)/-) 10% volts, 50 cycles/second, 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor should be at least 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor should be as per IS: 325-1978 with up to date amendments.
