The bidder is required to have prior work experience of similar works, specifically reinforcement cement concrete work (RCC). The similar work should have a value of not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the current project. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work with a value of not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. The bidder must have experience of having completed similar work during the last 7 years. The similar work is defined as Construction of "Reinforcement cement concrete work". The bidder should have completed works with values such as: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The value of executed work should be updated to the current price level by enhancing the actual value at a simple rate of interest of 7% per annum. The bidder must have achieved a minimum average annual financial turnover of 30% of the estimated cost in the last 3 financial years. Completed work means either completed or completed to the extent of minimum 90% of award amount (including unpaid amount on account of paucity of funds). A certificate from the Engineer-in-Charge is required to verify the experience. The value of executed work shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of interest 7% per annum.
