The bidder must have experience of having completed similar work during the last 7 years. The similar work can be either: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The value of executed work shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of interest of 7% per annum. Completed work means either completed or completed to the extent of a minimum of 90% of the award amount. Additionally, for specific works like building, road, sanitary, and Water Supply Works, the contractor is required to employ a qualified Engineer/Junior Engineer/Supervisor with 5 years of experience. For sanitary and Water Supply Works, the contractor shall employ a qualified Junior Engineer with an experience of not less than 5 years, out of which at least 1 year should be in Sanitary Engineering or Water Supply Works when the tendered costs of work to be executed is more than Rs. 25,000/-.
