The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in Highway Construction or Bridge Construction. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works, such as re-surfacing/surfacing work (bituminous works), with specific criteria as follows: - Three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the work, - Two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the work, - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the work in the last seven and current financial years. For works costing over Rs. 50 Lakhs to 10 Crore, the bidder should have a Degree holder in Engineering with at least 4 years of practical experience. For works costing over 10 Crore and up to Rs 50 Crore, the bidder should have: - One Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 3 years of experience in Bridge Construction for Bridge Construction Projects, - Alternatively, one Diploma Holder with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 6 years of experience in Bridge Construction for Bridge Construction Projects, - A Quality Control Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, - One Survey engineer with experience in Total Station Survey and knowledge of the latest Total Station equipment and other survey instruments. The bidder should also have experience in using equipment such as Hot Mix Plant (HMP), Stone Crusher cum screening plant, Paver Finisher, Dumper/Tipper, Tandam Vibratory Roller, Static Roller, and JCB/Backhoe Loader, and in obtaining statutory clearances from concerned government agencies for installation and running of the equipment. Values like amount and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as 40%, 50%, and 80% of the estimated cost of the work. The amount for works is mentioned as over Rs. 50 Lakhs to 10 Crore and over 10 Crore and up to Rs 50 Crore.
