Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Dismantling of existing CC block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or desired by Engineer (NS)

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Relaying old CC blocks over 25 mm thick fine sand including transportation from road side where stacked excluding cost of CC blocks and complete in all respect as per specifications (NS).

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS: 15658:2006/IRC SP 63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30mm thick find sand complete in all respect. [HSR 10.159]

Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade-I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Manufacturing, supplying and laying of precast cement concrete rectangular block (0.45 M x 0.30 M x 0.15 M ) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 Kg/ per cum with digital batching plant duly compacted with table vibration including setting in position over bed prepared with 25mm thick fine sand and filling up the joints with fine sand (NS).

Pdg & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P, transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen’s 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula) Note: - 1. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 2. The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mentioned in BOQ item No.____. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating the Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anit-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted alongwith bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating the Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anit-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clods, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour, hardness, wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc., and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification Clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No 6.2, 6.3 and 3.2 and other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT in section No. 9. Note: No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R / ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and installing shoulder mounted direction signage of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC-67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium composite panels as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two nos, Mild steel pipe post 80 mm NB medium class 4 mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size (450 mm X 450 mm X 600 mm) / (600 mm X 600 mm X 750 mm) complete as per drawings Technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Size:- 1200x 900 mm

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres (HSR 6.6)

Earth filling under floors with surplus soil, excavated from foundation and taken only from outside the building plinth, in 15 cm layers including ramming watering and consolidating lead upto 30 metres (HSR 6.13 a)

Cement concrete 1:4:8 with brick ballast 40 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth.(HSR 10.36)

Cement concrete 1:4:8 with brick ballast 40 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth.(HSR 10.39)

Cement Concrete 1:2:4 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. [HSR 10.41]

Fe-500 E.Q.R. TMT Steel bars for bars R.C.C., works, where not included in the complete rate of R.C.C. including bending, binding and placing in position complete. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps. From the length so measured, the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS:1732.Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing, shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. (NS).

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage, loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- i) Good Bricks @ Rs. 4.50/- Each

ii) Bricks Bats @ Rs. 400/- per cum

iii) 20mm PC @ 1170/- per cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
