PVC wire shall be supplied by Railway 02 & as per instructions given by Railway Engineer's Representative at site. Note:- At certain locations, it may not be possible to achieve earth resistance of less than or equal to 1 ohm with one earth electrode/pit due to higher soil resistivity. in such cases, provision of loop earth consisting of more than one earth pit shall be done. for inter connection of two earth pits copper tape of size 25 X2 sq.mm shall be provided by the Contractor. The number of pits required shall be decided based on the resistance achieved for the earth pit already installed. The procedure mentioned above for one earth pit shall be repeated for other earth pits. The other earth so installed for the purpose of loop earthing arrangement shall be counted as separate earth. Boring & Trenchless cabling along with supply and insertion of HDPE pipe of PE 80 PN 8 grade of 03 90mm dia with min. 6.7mm and max. 7.6mm wall thickness as per IS 4984:2016 in the bore for the laying of signalling/ Telecom/ Power cables under the track/ road.( cable laying is covered separately).
