Excavating and refilling of trench in Normal Soil to the level of ground with rammed 01 earth as per drg. No.(NR/SnT/CON/1.1/97-A) so as not to form a drain 0.3 Mtrs. Wide and 1Mtr. Deep on both side of the station alongside the track. It shall conform to the safe distance as per signalling and cable route plan in all type of soil, It also includes clearance of routes of trees and bushes. Lesser depth due to site condition shall be paid proportionately. Inspection: By Consignee

Boring and Trenchless cabling along with supply and insertion of HDPE pipe of PE 80 02 PN 8 grade of 90mm dia with min. 6.7mm and max. 7.6mm wall thickness as per IS 4984:2016 in the bore for the laying of signalling/ Telecom/ Power cables under the track/ road.( cable lying is covered separately). HDPE pipe is to be supplied by the contractor. Inspection by Consignee.

Laying of signalling/Telecom/power cables of different sizes as per approved Drg. No. NR/SnT/CON/1-1/97C and as per cable route plan approved by Railways and meggering of cable before and after its laying of all type of outdoor cables. Inspection: By Consignee

Termination of all cores of all types of main outdoor cables after its laying on both ends and providing number ferrule on each core under supervision of Railway representative. This 04 also includes preparation of test report for core to core and core to earth on prescribed Performa for each core of the cable separately. This also includes dressing and lacing of cables on both ends. Performa for testing and material for lacing to be supplied by the contractor. Termination of both end of core will be counted as one. Fixing, wiring , Testing , adjustment of Point Machine as per standard practice. Its also includes: (i) Fixing of switch extension 'P' bracket, providing insulation for switch extension bracket, fixing ground connections, adjusting the correct opening of switches and adjusting the point machine with crank handle. ii) Wiring inside the point machine, erection and wiring of JB with lock and key as per drawing, provided with terminal strips (if required). (iii) Supply and fixing of GI pipes with flange for taking cable in to point machine and jn. Box through gland/GI pipe. (iv) Complete material for installation viz. point insulation material, Jn. box, GI pipe, gland pipe, wiring material, nut and bolts of 05 various sizes, angle iron of size 75mmx75mmx10mm, channels for fixing the machine, lugs for point rodding and insulation materials for stretcher bar 90R/52kg/60kg as per .drg.no.SA-23171 (adv.) Alt.1 will be supplied by the contractor. (v) Smithy and fitting work required at site for complete installation of Gauge tie plate and insulation of GTP as per approved Drg.no.NR/SnT/CON/7-6/97 and william stretcher bar (if reqd.) will be done by the contractor. Machine shall be overhauled by contractor if required. (vi) This includes removal of existing gears and fixing the machine at raised level on channel as per standard practice to avoid flooding wherever required. (vii) Supply of ground connections of electric point machine, non insulated GTP and CTP extension plate,Jn. box and stretcher bar shall be made available by the Rlys. in which the supply of ground connections, Jn box is covered separately. Dismantling and releasing of Point equipments which includes all SnT fittings of 06 electrical and mechanical, facing point lock/ hand plunger lock/ lock bar / holding bar/ EPD/ mechanical detecter/ Pt. machine with all attachments. All dismantled material to be transported and stack in the store of DY.CMM/JUDW/SSB store depot or any SSE/Sig/Stores of UMB division or any other store of N.Rly as per consignee. Casting, concreting and curing of foundation and erection of single apparatus cases of size (1160mmX760mm at surface and 650 mm deep as per approved drawing no. 07 NR/SnT/Con./2.7/97. A layer of 3mm of Bitumin compound has to be provided between foundation and location box to prevent ingress of water in the base of location box. All material such as cement, coarse, sand, aggregate and anchor bolts shall be supplied by the contractor. Appartus case single will be supplied by railway. Contractor is required to execute all type of repair works of foundation if required during inserting the cable for termination. Inspection: By Consignee

Preparation of App. Case single not involving wiring of relays: Preparation and fixing of bakelite hylum sheet 910x800x6mm and Backelite shelf 900x450x25mm duly fixed by angle iron piece of different size inside all the app. Cases. Hylum board shall be fixed on an angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx3mm. Angle iron frame will be fixed in location boxes secured by nuts and bolts.This includes fixing of fuses, ARA terminal, fixing and jamming of cables with 2 inch thick salwood plank provided at the bottom. This will include opening, pasting and jamming armour of each cable in the 08 hole drilled separately for each cable through the salwood plank and all cable entry points on location boxes, location huts, JBs relay room/battery room to be closed with suitable masonry Works covered with sand and plastering.Wiring description for terminal drawing of circuits, inside app. Case. Painting from out side as well inside with red oxide and aluminum paint is covered separately. Size of lettering will be 100mm or as per instructions of Engineer at site. All materials including Backelite shelf, hylum board, salwood plank, wire and wiring material, non deteriorating type HRC fuses with bases, catenary wires, nuts and bolts and other items shall be supplied by the contractor and shall be as per the RDSO specn.(as applicable). This will include opening, 09 pasting and jamming armour of each cable in the hole drilled separately for each cable through the salwood plank and all cable entry points on location boxes, location huts, JBs relay room/battery room to be closed with suitable masonry Works covered with sand and plastering. Concreting unscheduled items in concrete of 1:3:6 ratio in cement, coarse sand and aggregate 25mm at different places in the yard and plastering top in fine plaster of 1:4 cement sand 14 ratio. It also includes the excavation of earth as required at site and as per instruction of site in charge. The volume in cubic meters shall include the volume occupied by any CI foundation, trestle, MS angle or flat or GI pipe required to be embedded in the casting. The lead is to be measured from centre of gravity of location to the centre of filling and lift from main ground level. Maintenance of signalling gears required for the execution of track machines such as unimate , MP-2007, CSM, DUMETC,BCM, SRM and any other track maintenance machine work includes:- a) Proper dressing of Track Leads jumpers/ removing and re-fixing of axle counter track devices as required by Railway representative at site before and after commencing of Unimate, MP- 2007, CSM, DUMETC, BCM, BRM and SRM etc machine. This includes replacement of defective jumpers Bonding etc. Jumper/Bonding will be provided by Railway. b) Dismantling and ReFixing Turn out, Installation and testing of rodding set for point machines and point machine as per direction of railway representative at site. (c) All damaged cable due to unimate, MP-2007 CSM, DVO METIC, BCM SRM and any other Track maintenance machine work should be meggered properly and it required, should be replaced by the contractor as directed by railways representative at site.
